After 18 years co-ownership of Casa Garrovas, illness forces the sale of a half share in this charming and traditional 250 year old finca on the magical and exclusive naturist island of Formentera in the Mediterranean.

Formentera is an unspoilt island of natural beauty, with fantastic white sandy beaches and crystal clear water. Naturism has been part of the island's culture for many years and naturists have always mixed comfortably on the beaches with those who choose not to be naturist. It is a peaceful, special place with an all year round mild climate.

Windmill on Formentera Casa Garrovas is centrally located in a quiet rural backwater next to one of the five surviving windmills on the island. It has views to the south and is set in approximately one acre (4000 square metres) full of cactus, olive and pine trees and, of course, the garrovas trees from which it takes its name.

The lively village of San Ferran with its many bars and quality restaurants is within easy walking distance.



The house itself has three double bedrooms arranged around a central living area off which a recently renovated kitchen and bathroom were added in the 1960's.

As an attractive feature the internal well head has been incorporated into the layout of the kitchen and bathroom. Water is supplied from an external, underground collection tank and is pumped into the kitchen and bathroom. Hot water to these areas is provided by an electric boiler. Another lovely feature is an open fire in the snug part of the living space. The whole of this spacious central living area retains much of the charm of the original traditional finca.

The property has French doors opening on to a newly completed patio looking out on to the garden.

Formentera must be one of the best kept naturist secrets in the mediterranean, and here is an opportunity to be a part of it!
