The caravan was lovely better than I thought it would be -just lovely. The September weather was perfect for us Cumbrians. The sea was strong but we had fun running in and out the waves. It was a lovely beach and we took walks in the wooded area. The cycling was good fun too.
I recommend the take away chips and the croissants from the bakery. For food and bottled water we headed to the local supermarket out at Soulac-Sur-Mer, which in the car was just 4 miles away up the coast. You can live there cheaper this way.
We need to take the cards next time for the evenings with our wine. The wine is 8 euroes in the site wine shop. You fill your own plastic bottle - the red is good, it knocks you out!
We'll go back next year (2010) for three weeks in a tent- fantastic! Here in Cumbria, in the Lake District, the September nights are cold in a tent.

Cumbria to Euronat very pleasant . by: Anonymous
From Cumbria we flew from Liverpool JLA to Bordeaux. We picked up the booked car at the airport with no problems. We headed to St Medard-en-Jalles, then to Le Porge and straight up to Vendays-Montalivet. We went through Mayan and turned left - at the end of the road was Euronat. It was a lovely quiet journey with no hassels.
The caravan was all it said on the website. We hired cycles for a day. The beach was the best we have been on in September - the waves were choppy.
We are planning to come back in 2010 for two holidays already. The health shop on site is great. You can do your own clay face and body.
