Little CrugwallinsA Cornish Gem for Naturists
If it is a naturist holiday in Cornwall that you are looking for then Little Crugwallins could end your search.A large period farmhouse with 16th century 'longhouse' origins, Little Crugwallins has been extended and modernised over the years. It is situated in a secluded rural setting in five acres of pasture land with approximately one acre of private gardens yet close to the amenities in St Austell.
It consists of three well furnished holiday lets and a jacuzzi room grouped around a courtyard. The jacuzzi, which is free, is in a centrally heated room with a large picture window overlooking the gardens which extend to about an acre and are totally secluded.
The property is approached by a curving private driveway which renders the house and gardens invisible from the road. This privacy is enhanced by its own fields on both sides of the drive and the house. There is a small private garden and summerhouse accessed from the house which leads to extensive and attractive gardens surrounding the holiday accommodation, with a further summerhouse for guests and a separate play area for children.
Little Crugwallins consists of three self contained units.
MEADOWSIDE (sleeps 4)
As the name suggests it has views over the adjoining meadow (south facing) and also over the main lawn. Meadowside has been fitted
out to a high standard and is wheelchair friendly, having a ramp to the front door and full size, three feet wide doors throughout.
There are two bedrooms, a lounge/diner, kitchenette and a large bathroom.
THE BARN (sleeps 2)
A converted 16th century barn providing extremely comfortable accommodation for two people. It offers a lounge/diner with colour TV and Hi-Fi system (bring your own CDs) plus a well equipped kitchenette with fridge, spin dryer, electric cooker and microwave, and a bathroom.
THE CABIN (sleeps 5) The cabin has two bedrooms. The first has a double size pine bed (4ft 6ins) with pine furniture. The second has three single beds, so is suitable for a family of up to five people. In fact, two of the single beds can be zipped together to form a double so this makes the unit suitable for two couples as well. There is a lounge/diner, fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a full length bath!
In all accommodation electricity is provided by meters which accept £1 coins. All central heating is provided when necessary but cooking, lighting and extra equipment uses the metered power. Feel free to bring your own CDs, videos and DVD's if you wish to.
A Barbecue is available so you may wish to bring your own implements.
Nearby tourist attractions include the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan. There is easy access to both North and South coasts and it is only 10 miles to The Vault 'unofficial' naturist beach.
Accommodation like this is extremely rare in Cornwall so, if you wish to stay, an early booking is recommended.
