Newborough - Malltraeth Sands

Exploring an old wreck - looking towards Llanddwyn Island
Thirsty on the beach
One of my favourite beaches for enjoying some quiet clothes free freedom has to be Malltraeth Sands, near Newborough in the island of Anglesey in North West Wales.
It offers undoubtedly one of the best views of any nudist beach in the UK and the water is clean here too.
The beach is unofficially used by naturists during fine weather.
To get there, follow the beach signs from the village of Newborough and park in the forestry car park by the beach. On the beach, turn right and walk for a mile towards Llanddwyn Island, which is popular with walkers.
Once you have gone past the causeway to the island, you may start to encounter nudists sunbathing on the beach after about 200m. However, sometimes you may have to go further towards the shipwreck shown in my photo, which can be seen when the tide is out.
It is worth pointing out that there are no facilities close to hand, so bring your own food and drink for a pleasant day out. The nearest toilets are located in the public car park.
In my opinion this beach is a fantastic place for naturists that are able and willing to walk a while for some clothes free peace and quiet.
Hope to see more nudists enjoying this fantastic beach!
