The wonderful Greek island of Kefalonia is home to Vassaliki Naturist Club, Greece's newest naturist resort. Located along the west coast of mainland Greece, Kefalonia is the largest of the Ionian Islands, covering 786sq.kms.
This beautiful island is mountainous with rich woodlands and extensive vineyards in its wonderfully natural environment. There are 254kms of highly indented coastline containing superb beaches and deep crystal clear bays.
Owners, Mark and Samantha Taylor, have had the foresight to ensure that Vassaliki complements this natural splendour. The air conditioned rooms, many with stunning views, retain their traditional Greek charm and provide a welcome retreat at the end of a busy day exploring the resort facilities.
The well maintained gardens and grounds, which are surrounded by lush olive groves and pine trees, contain a glistening swimming pool with it's own pool bar, ample parking and an al fresco dining experience like no other!
All accommodation consists of simply furnished quality rooms, well appointed with modern facilities and cool in design.The double rooms and chalet all have a separate bedroom and can sleep up to four people (2 on a sofa bed).
These apartments have an open plan living area. The smaller, cosy studios have an open plan bedroom. All accommodation has a dining table, kitchenette (with small cooker and fridge/freezer) and separate shower room. All rooms also have patio or balcony areas, many with great views to the mountains, the sea or both!
The accommodation is on a self catering basis. The pool bar and under cover dining area is fully equipped to offer a range of alcoholic and soft drinks, hot and cold freshly prepared bar snacks and ice creams.
A ten minute drive away is the local town of Argostoli which has a good selection of supermarkets and local shops along with a large choice of restaurants and bars. The emphasis on community at Vassaliki creates a friendly social atmosphere and the young, vibrant and friendly staff are always on hand to ensure that you get the very best from your naturist experience. This can range from just relaxing in the resort to the more energetic additional excursions such as naturist sailing or power boat trips.
Why not join Mark and Sam one evening on a short walk to one of the local tavernas. The greek hosts will serve a selection of greek dishes to try along with some local wine and beer.
Eat and drink until the money runs out! Maybe the next day you would like to relax at Vassaliki with one of a range of therapies such as holistic, Indian head or hot stone massage.

From Saturday 1st May until Saturday 15th May all guests will receive a free day sailing around the Ionian seas aboard one of our stunning yachts. Enjoy a day on board with our skipper who will take you for a day's sailing in some of the best sailing waters in the Mediterranean. With the chance of seeing dolphins and loggerhead turtles the trip is full of activities. You are invited to help sail the boat by hoisting the sails and steering a course, or you can just relax on deck and enjoy the wind in your hair. The boat will moor in a quiet bay where lunch will be served on board, this will give you time to swim and explore the bay. The trip is naturist once the boat has left the harbour. (Maximum 8 people on board at a time.) May is a beautiful month to visit, as the island is still lush and green from the spring rains with an abundance of meadow flowers. You may find the sea temperature cooler at approximately 18C/64F but with the average air temperature at 24C/75F and an average of 10 sunshine hours a day, there should be plenty of time to relax in the early summer sun.

Whichever season you decided to visit Vassaliki, the average air temperature would be in the 20's with an average of between 8 and 13 hours sunshine a day. The sea temperature can vary from 18c in May to 23c in high season.
Tourism on the island is well managed with small clusters of villas and locally run hotels on the outskirts of small towns and villages. The island has not been over developed and still has its traditional charms.
Should you wish to explore the island of Kefalonia there are several archaeological attractions for tourists that include Drogarati cave, Melisani water cave, Virgin of the Themata monastery, Lake Karavomylos and also the world famous Myrtos Beach, which was used in the filming of Captain Corelli's Mandolin.If it is the freedom of a naturist holiday, together with first class facilities and service, then you need look no further than Vassaliki Naturist Club on the paradise of Kefalonia.

Vassiliki Naturist Club is a great addition to the world of naturist holidays. Young Brits Mark and Sam have upped sticks from the UK and opened a 12-apartment naturist resort - the only naturist resort on the island and in fact, across much of Greece. It's a beautiful place with great views of the countryside and sea, with a large and inviting swimming pool, pool bar where drinks and snacks are available and large, well furnished rooms all with balconies. The small number of rooms means that Mark and Sam know all guests and there is a family atmosphere, though it is large enough to be alone if you prefer. For the more sociable, Mark and Sam arrange group events such as a meal in a local taverna, BBQ evening, boat trips and sports and games. Kefalonia has a lot to offer and there are some lovely villages and (nude) beaches worth exploring. Mark and Sam will even arrange for your hire car to be brought to the resort, so there is no particular need to book one for the whole holiday. Highly recommended.
