Goiko Aldatxea
Naturist Seclusion
in North West Spain

Price: €750,000

Goiko Aldatxea is south-facing and commands panoramic views of the wonderful mountain landscape of northern Navarra.

Situated in two acres of land, some of which is deciduous forest, this is the ideal opportunity to buy, what would be, the perfect naturist property.

Within the secluded garden is an area that would be an ideal situation for a swimming pool.

The house overlooks the small, picturesque village of Etxalar which lies 28km from Behobia, the border between France and Spain, and 8km over the mountain road towards Sare in France.

It is also within very easy reach of Hendaye, which has a huge beach with a naturist area at one end.

The house is of typical Basque construction built to a very high specification with local stone and good quality timber, most of which can be seen as exposed beams.

It was newly constructed three years ago and it has all the key utilities, including its own spring water, solar panels and an underfloor heating system.

The exterior doors and windows are double-glazed with natural pine frames, and painted pine shutters and balconies.

The ground floor consists of an open plan reception area of 80m2 with a lounge leading through to a dining area and kitchen. There is also a cloak room/toilet.

The floor is laid with hand-made terracotta tiles, whilst the upstairs flooring is solid chestnut throughout.

Double doors lead out onto the garden with surrounding meadows and trees. South facing, there is a spacious wooden deck with stunning views overlooking Etxalar.

Wooden stairs lead from the ground floor to the first floor which has three bedrooms.

One bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with access to a large south-facing terracotta floored terrace.
There is also an independent bathroom for the other two bedrooms which both have access to wide balconies.

On the second floor is a storage room and a large area of 60m2 with wonderful potential for conversion into a studio/flat or further bedrooms with hot and cold water and drains already installed.

There is also an independent open plan building with all domestic facilities including a kitchen area and shower room.

There is undercover parking for several vehicles.

Goiko Aldatxea is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty with direct access onto the GR 11 trekking route and is surrounded by mountains where it is possible to walk or ride for hours

Add to that the fact that you are only a very easy drive to wonderful beaches, then you have the ideal situation.

One of the beauties of the area is that it hasn’t been spoilt by tourism, and yet San Sebastian, Pamplona, and Biarritz are only half an hour away.

Goiko Aldatxea is also easily accessible from the UK and other parts of Europe.

There is a TGV train station in Hendaye, with Eurostar connection in Paris. 35 kilometres away is Biarritz International airport with daily Ryanair/EasyJet flights from London. Also, Santander, with ferry links to Plymouth, is only a three hour drive away.
