Resort Grottamiranda
Sundrenched Naturist Bliss
in Italy

The wonderful naturist resort of Grottamiranda is situated in Puglia, Italy's sun bleached heel, far away from mass tourism.

Grottamiranda is a family resort with comfortable apartments, and a swimming pool situated within a garden of citrus fruits.

There are nine beautiful apartments in the resort: three accommodating one or two persons, five from two to four persons, and one large apartment accommodating up to six people.

Each apartment has a living area, with either a separate or corner kitchen with fridge, hot plate and fume hood, a bedroom with king sized bed, and bathroom/shower room and toilet.

All apartments have air conditioning, television and wifi access.

Towels, linen and kitchen linen are also provided, together with hair dryer and natural toiletries made from Puglia's olive oil.

The apartments lead onto a terrace with beautiful views over the olive and almond trees.

This is a perfect place for an evening sundowner and meal.

The swimming pool is situated in front of reception and a few steps from the apartments. There is a diving board with a depth of 2.65 metres for added safety.

On the terrace of the swimming pool you will find the bar, stocked to satisfy you any time of day.

It should be mentioned that you are living a naturist lifestyle and that nakedness is compulsory throughout the resort.

There is a summer kitchen dedicated to cooking classes. Learn how to make true Italian tomato sauce or the orecchiette of Puglia.

There is also a shop, which is open from 7.00 am. each day, selling basic products for breakfast, and simple meals.

On the south facing side of the grounds are the terraces which are positioned on three levels.

There is a shaded area under a parasol, a large solarium area, and barbecues throughout the grounds to cook your lunch or evening meal.

There are many trees under which to find shade and a green area close to the citrus fruit orchard.

There are also outside games for children and adults.

As well as swimming, exercise can include jogging among the olive trees, stretching and cardio-training.

All activities at Grottamiranda are based around relaxation, fitness and cultural discoveries and can be customised and designed around your needs.

Bike rentals are available - a great way to explore the area.

If you feel like being pampered then the day can end with a wonderfully relaxing massage.

The nearest naturist beach is seven kilometres away at Torre Guaceto.

Here you will find 3.5 kilometres of fine sand, beaches and creeks.

The resort is situated in the upper region of Salento, the Italian boot’s ‘stiletto’, and a region famous for its wines.

Should you wish to venture out you will discover an area steeped in history and culture.

Among the nearby attractions is the historic city of Lecce, the glittering ‘Florence of the South’,  which hosts the Museo Faggiano, an archaeological treasure trove, and also a Roman Ampitheatre.

Maybe visit one of the beautiful little villages in the area and sample the 'cucina povera', the dish of the area, rich in tradition.

One thing can be guaranteed. However you decide to spend your holiday, you will leave here refreshed, rejuvenated, and planning your next visit here.
