Polemi/Exotic Beach. Kos

Polemi/Exotic Beach. Kos

Well! It was a while back now.

But while staying in Kefalos, we ventured further out of the resort and found a fantastic huge and mainly deserted Beach Called Polemi Beach.

The first time we walked on it we realised that many were naked, so we left without considering the option of stripping off.
But later that evening we spoke of it "Who knows us? We are miles from home, been married for years etc"

So the next day we packed a picnic lunch, the wife took her books and off we set. We arrived and walked on past to the naked folk and tried not to give the impression we were looking etc.

Anyway we found our spot away from the bulk of people, and as the holiday progressed we moved nearer other folk, realising they were in the coolest location. Heat wise.

We now go every year, and meet up with real pals from all over Europe.

If you ever go to Kos, Head for Kefalos, look for the sign post to Magic Beach, turn left there.
At the bottom of the Hill turn left again and there is a small car park 300 yards along the track. The signpost says EXOTIC Beach.

A guy there serves cold beers and sandwiches from a home made hut, oh yea and you can use his BBQ pit also. A magical place.

Us middle aged couple come home feeling like a couple of kids again.

The Beach is so vast, you can find a spot and be unseen all day and is a good starting point for first timers.
