Levant Beach on Formentera

Formentera has many wonderful clothing optional beaches - Levant in the north of the island is possibly the best. The sea is translucent and resembles the Caribbean - the water is warm throughout the summer and the weather is usually hot and sunny. There is no compulsory nudity, but it is perfectly acceptable on nearly all the beaches of the island.

It was this wonderful freedom that I loved - everyone was free to do their own thing with no rules and regulations either banning nudity or enforcing it. Spain can teach the UK in this area.
We hope to return - the beaches must be the best in the Med.
