Riding through the Forest at Euronat

Riding through the Forest at Euronat

We visited Euronat for a week in June 2007. We had a great time riding to the beach and through the park (a bike is essential) in the nude. We loved the little village with the best bakery in Europe. Each day we would buy Bread, wine and coffee, along with other essentials. On the day that the weather turned bad, we spent swimming in the heated indoor pool. No clothing was allowed at all in the pool area. Make sure that you are there for a Sunday and travel to Montalivet for Oysters freshly shucked at the market with a glass or two of wine from the local producers. The shower blocks are pretty spartan for the campers but still fun. We met lots of lovely people from all over the world, all enjoying their time at Euronat under the Pine trees in the nude. I couldn't recommend Euronat more highly.

We sent a month at Euronat at the start of the season 2006 and loved it. It is huge with all types of accommodation.

Can't agree the showers are "spartan" as per a previous comment. They are communal but when we were there invariably had the room to oneself. You press the button and warm water sprays out. What more do you want of a shower?

Nice beach with interesting remains of Hitler's "Atlantic wall"

Would love to go again. need to use a ferry to cross the Gironde (or drive a long way round.
